NICE! - wonderful engine sound - and nice driving - (but gotta pull the relay for the wiper haha or was it raining?? (I see some drops) (not sure if that trick works on a 997.2))

Awesome. If we had some auto cross courses like that I would do it. They are short nonsense around here that reward far tired miatas.

Looks like fun. Good job controlling the car. Sounded great. I second that I would attend one with that much free space to get up to speed. Did a couple with my M3 and barely got out of 1st gear.

Nice driving. I can't do AC, sea of cones confuses me.

The norcal and socal ax courses are pretty great, old runways... although the one in Socal is not going to be much longer....

Thank you for the comments...and yes it's a blast, especially the competition part of things.

If you're in the Bay Area (Nor Cal), we do have some lucky venues.

1. Alameda (retired Naval base) runways. It's a large site with the most scenic background of any auto-x site. With the San Francisco city skyline (bridges, bay, ships) in the background it's great place to photo shoot cars. It happens to be the place where Mythbuster's did a lot of their experiments.

2. Crows Landing (2nd alternate landing site for the Space Shuttle) is where the above video was from. Another large airstrip that can offer 3rd gear course designs

ps - the wipers were intentionally on (rainy day).

Never tried AC, not enough time to do both AC and track but you got me thinking

Very cool.
I've done few autoxes in mine, but they were both on small / tight lots - nothing that open. Would love to run on a course set up like that-
