New 997.1 GT3 Owner
Hi all together,
my name is Marc, I live in Heidelberg, Germany and after several 997 and 991 Carrera, I have picked up my first 997.1 GT3 last week. It is a 2008 one owner car in an almost brandnew condition, you can also say in a collector condition. The car just had a big service at the Porsche dealer before I bought it and it never had a crash. It is a genuine Clubsport, untouched and never used on the track. But this fact have to change The plan is to upgrade the car with some smaller mods to improve a bit the performance so I can have some fun on track days.
So I've already start to order the following parts:
- Numeric Short Shifter
- RSS Motor Mounts
- Function First Transmission Mount Insert
- Function First Classic Shift ****
- Evox Exhaust Bypass
- RS 4.0 Flywheel, Pressureplate & Clutch Kit
- K&N Airfilter
- Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines
- Liteblox Lightweight Battery with matching CF bracket
I really look forward to be part of this site and get inspired by the cars of you guys

Great car! Heidelberg is one of my favorite cities. Good memories of the best bratwurst and beer in the world. Spent a lot of time across the river from you and south of Spyer in Germersheim.
Welcome. Looking forward to hearing about your track experiences. Enjoy your drives through the Black Forest.

The red tail lights were the first parts I swaped to a set of stock red & white. Even the car was delivered from factory with the red tail lights I prefer the regular red & white units. I also add the missing front and rear parts of the GT3 sidestripes. I'll post a photo when I'm back home this weekend :-)

My 08 came with all red from factory, I changed them to red and white as well. All red made it look bug'ish.
Congrats on the purchase, all the fun is in front of you now

Very nice! Be prepared for some negativity on the K&N, though.
