Fantastic looking motor and congratulations. As great as the GT4 is it will never be a 911, nor a GT3. Enjoy one of the finest analogue driving experiences out there . All the best.

Big congratulations!

When I had my RS go through a PPI 3.5 years ago with 59k miles the service guys told me that these motors live for being used and that mine was in perfect health. I learned early on to enjoy every mile...as I know you will too! I'm a very 'bad' collector in that way. Hahahahahaha!

Brought my GT3 to Tom and his team at TPC Racing

My order business was:
1) Coolant line welding. Interestingly, there was another GT3 there with it's engine already out getting the same service. Except that, it had been pinned before. Coolant was leaking at the line inserts. TPC opts to weld and pressure test for weld integrity. They also check that mating surfaces are still level/true after the heat cycle.

2) Limited slip differential rebuild. Mine had degraded to an open diff.
Initially, I wanted a Guards rebuild, but was steered toward a rebuild with Cup internals. Hopefully, still an upgrade over stock.

3) Function First shifter install. Less slop and 15% throw. I'm hoping this will clean up the travel from 2nd to 3rd.

4) More track oriented alignment and corner balance.

Definitely not going to be cheap. But I figure, do it right, do it once.

Either method can be prone to failure if not done right. And vice versa. Whichever method you choose is fine as long as the person doing the work knows what they're doing.

Can't go wrong w. TPC either way. Great bunch of guys, super knowledgable and I'm grateful that they continue to support our platform.

Looks awesome! I hope I can take mine down to them someday for almost the same treatment you're having.

7.2 gt3 suspension is well sorted in stock form for tracking... just get proper alignment and bars sorted for your style of driving and tracks frequented

dsc may help but only marginally... unlike 7.1's where the front end needs a lot of help ... dsc plus front springs minimum or just start all over

small update.
-full paint correction and detail
-full front + rockers/fenders XPEL Ultimate application
-side decals application *edit* just noticed, the small black stripe forward of the front wheels are flipped/backwards....

I've got black OZ wheels awaiting new RE71R rubber (my track set)

The OEM set has seen it's share of wear after 6yrs, planning on getting them repaired and refinished. Considering a slightly darker shade of gunmetal than what is pictured now.
