Agree, however when gt4 is on stickys as well. All I'm looking for is ~15hp/tq. Will net me just the amount of speed I need-- the rest of $ I need to spend on the driver. More seat time.

RK really appreciate the information you have provided however let's keep this thread on track. As much as I like your headers at 7k equates $300 a hp. At that price I can buy material to built 5 sets of headers myself and find out via dyno if they work or not, however. I don't want to go down that path. I just want to get what's good for the money off the shelf. I can live with getting 20whp vs 30. I only need a wee bit to keep gt4s at bay.

I almost agree with your statement, we did a canyon run yesterday I was in the .1 and it had plenty of power and the manual 3.6 loves to live above 5kprm. Easy to get the tail out on the switchbacks
Now having it ready to point and shoot on to a straight I would want all the extra ponies I can afford

If money no object of course
If you are trying to buy tenths of a second on a normal race track, order of operations
Tires
Shocks / springs
Gut interior / get rid of weight
Tranny / LSD
Way off topic sorry - Enrique do you have some lightweight wheels and sticky tires already?
you wheel well, you really shouldn't need anything to our gun most DE level dudes in a GT4

It'll be interesting to compare same day times, that's too close to compare not under same conditions
From watching his SPB record lap there he also gives no sh*ts about wrecking so that plays into the equation

that's potter's first day in car. i think he can do 1:55 if he wanted to. he may go off often but when he stays on pavement.... u would swear his car has 100hp on you (while you are in the same car).

Anyway, we all know stoplight racing is turbo territory.
All these cars are plenty fast to get us in trouble.
And we all know coaching and sticky tires show instant results
But mods are fun. :-)
Enrique: the main reason I have the cup headers is I didn't want to blow out my stock cats, track time is hell on them. They were easy, look OEM, make a little more power, and sound good with the center muffler/side deletes. The tune helps that and gives a little more oomph.
A well driven .1 will keep pace with the GT4, and cheater parts help the lack of driver skill (like ME)

Plenty header threads on here. You've got several choices. GMG, Fabspeed, M&M/FVD and 100 cell cup headers. FWIW I currently have GMG with center and did not notice any gains on the butt dyno. Tye T has the Sharks EVOms headers on his ride.

P.S. Most headers out there on the market only give you better sound.

Wish I'd contacted u for your spare Fabspeed parts. Just bought new identical parts from Fabspeed for install in my 2015 Dark Blue GT3.
I'm sure you're treating my old baby well ...
