I have a 2007 GT3 (purchased new) with 20K miles.

Yesterday, for the first time I noticed a squeaky sound when I depressed the clutch pedal PAST the 1/2 way mark and the sound repeated on release the INITIAL 1/2 way up. If I pumped the clutch, it seemed to help but if I didn't use the clutch for a few seconds, the sound reappeared. The clutch is working fine otherwise.

I don't work on cars at all, am a Sunday driver when it comes to my GT3, never tracked, driven cautiously and carefully on streets.

Is there something I could lubricate to resolve this sound or is this a more serious issue. If so, please give detailed instructions. The clutch nor anything else has ever required attention; only oil and filter changes.

Most likely throw out bearing squeaking along the guide tube. Issue? Not really and it may stop if you drive the car vs letting it sit. If the release gets notchy or you feel judder in reverse you most likely need a clutch. The grease in this point doesn't stay long especially if the car is driven hard on track. You could also have your shop take a quick look and bleed the clutch and checkout the master and slave cylinders but I'll bet they are fine.

Have it as well. Seems to happen more when the car is hot, particularly on hot days. Had a couple shops look at it, including Porsche. They all were unconcerned.

I would start by checking all the metal to metal contact points that are accessible and lubricate with light oil. When lazy or in a hurry, put a rag behind the contact point to catch the overspray from WD-40.
