Default BBS Monoblock 19" 5lug Group Buy Feeler

Hi Guys,

BMWTYE and I have been working this for a while. Wanted to get these but BBS didn't make them.

This is the wheel we're talking about

After discussions with BBS, we have some traction, we need at least 5 sets combined of the possible combinations below:

All below are $7750 Rennlist price. These should be much much closer to $10k, but the BBS motorsports guys think we're on to something and if we can help them cover the costs of the drawings and forgings, it gives them another option for the 997's...

Set Options. Colors are Motorsport Silver (as the picture above) or Gloss black. (Polished or custom colors available for $600/set). Weight of the 19" centerlock wheels are 17.9lbs for 9" front and 21.7lbs 12" rear. 9.5" aren't made yet and 5 lug will add a little weight to them.

Also the 9" ET 50 will not have much "curvature" to them. The 9.5" ET 42 will have curvature to them. If you have a regular fender car, we think the .2 fender extensions are enough to cover the 9.5" width wheels, but don't know for sure.

A: Stock Front Fender NB rear fitment
19x9 ET 50
19x12 ET 61

B: Cup or Grand am Front Fenders NB rear fitment
19x9.5 ET 42
19x12 ET61

C: Stock Front Fender WB rear fitment
19x9 ET 50
19x12 ET 48

D: Cup or GrandAM Front Fender WB rear fitment
19x9.5 ET 42
19x12 ET48

E: Cayman/Boxster Fitment
19x9 ET50 Front
19x9.5 ET42 Rear

Also available for $1500 each

18" 5 lug Monoblocks
18x9 ET50 6 wheels available
18x12 ET 65 2 wheels available
18x12.5 ET54 2 wheels available

All are motorsports silver and available painted for $600/set (4 wheels)

Please select which Letter of the set you're interested in below!

For the 18" PM me and I"ll get your setup, first come first served on these as you can see there's not many of them. Previously these were $10,000/set, so get them while they're hot!

BBS monoblock in 5 lug?!?!

If I still had my 7.2 RS, I would run the 18" monoblocks.....

Sooooo cool!!!!!!!

Now they need to make them in 19" fitment for 991 GT3/RS configurations also to cut down on costs.

Have you talked to the 991 GT3/RS guys also Jamie and Tye?!?!

This would make costs cheaper also .

Follow up for 991 guys, I do believe if converted to 5 lug, the 19x9 ET50 and 19x12 ET48 would be a good shot and has shown to clear the calipers (there is a 991 with center lock monoblocks on it already...)

What is the finish? Are they painted and then clear coated like an oem wheel which makes them easy to clean etc? Otherwise I have had bad luck with expensive pure race wheels for the street where you have to be very careful what products you use to clean and they are easy to stain etc.

I have a set of these wheels in 18s in the CL configuration for another Porsche I have. I haven't mounted them yet (waiting for summer as they have R compounds on them), but they look gorgeous.

Jamie, you have an RS, wouldn't it be wide body rear?

That's what he has himself down for. Fronts for cup/grandam fenders and widebody rear.

They're painted motorsports silver and clear coated. Or gloss black. They can also be painted any color you heart desires, for the additional charge.
