Because apparently mine didn't. The wiring isn't there, starting at the harness that plugs into the quadlock connector of the head unit.
PO had an aftermarket radio installed and fitted aftermarket speakers in the rear. Perfect fitment mind you, the only way I could tell the speakers were different than the door ones is that when I flashed a light at the speaker grille the rears are a different color - look like a Focal K2 or something similar.
Anyway, I don't really care since I rarely turn on the radio, but when I removed the aftermarket radio and put in a factory CDR-30 the rear speakers weren't working. So I used the wiring from the previous install. It works perfectly now.
But it made me curious as to whether CDR-30 equipped GT3s have rear speakers or not.

no rear speakers w/o sound package plus! The cdr24 stereo sucked so bad, removed it and put shelf. Keep my phone, gloves, whatever there.

Same here, just one speaker I believe in the front doors.
I'm considering throwing in a aftermarket deck and replacing the front speakers plus rear speakers because I'm traveling from 4-6 hours each way to some tracks I visit.
How did you hook up the rear speakers to the OEM deck??

I don't have rear speakers and don't listen to the radio at all when I'm in this car.
