Here's a 1:28 lap, like the 18th heat cycle on A6's (about nine 2 lappers and 9 full sessions). My fastest one has the sound all jumbled from converting it. And I'm not sharing that one until I go faster. Which hopefully will be soon.

I am adding Larry's vid. A RL classic!
He is driving Jim's (RL name carrering) RS. A very brave chap.
Larry posted an excellent ring HOT spot review here.
A must read for all Nordschleife fans and visitors.
Watch video with the HOT spot review next to it. On my todo list!

Sure Peter, do I have your email address?
Thanks man, I'm still learning like everyone else, still feel slow in a lot of areas, try to narrow that down. Think the car can run a high 25 in good conditions.

Three Wheelin'
From my first solo event !
Road Atlanta
Cannon1000 - '02 Turbo - 1:45.6 - Yes - 4/15/2012
Start at 12:45 for start of my fastest lap. Almost every lap had traffic at some point.

Awesome - Carrering's Nordschlief 9.20min lap is edge of seat stuff with all those late apexes and constant radius doubles - I like the UK instructor's carousel instruction "Ok now bumpee, bumpbumpbump" .... but watch the next lap i.e. with Instructor driving - closer to 8.20min (allowing for traffic and virtual stop for Z3 accident) - labelled 'unfooking believable car' cos that what the instructor yells as he finishes the lap! LOL

R.I.P.
this is a video posted on youtube by RL member 'wild999', liam wild.
liam used to post on the 996gt3 section and owned a 2004 gt3 stripper.
i had never met liam even though he was a fellow member of the local porsche club,
and had spoken to him on rl and planned to meet up at the next supersprint event late last year.
unfortunately, liam was sick at the time and couldn't run at the event.
liam had cystic fybrosis and sadly, passed away in january. his gt3 was driven behind the hearse to the burial. liam had bought his gt3 only a few years prior to realize a boyhood dream.
by all accounts, he lived life to the fullest. he was in his early 30's.
the gt3 had an illustrious history, with many famous owners and even competing in the aus gt championship early on.
i never met him, but maybe some people here on rl had spoken to him previously, so i'm just relating the story i just recently read in the club magazine.
