How much $$$ would a rebuild go for? (just to know if I should stopo ***** driving mine...)

I recently rolled over 100k miles nearly 70k of which are on my SW 3.9 conversation I dropped it off at Sharkwerks as Alex and James are curious to see how things look inside. James now has the motor torn down and things look pretty damn good in there, James contributed it to me faithfully changing oil every 3000 miles, just normal wear on bearings, cams and other parts. He suggested changing out to steel rods and a few other things. But after further discussion I decided WTF, I'm getting older and for a few $$ more........by the time my grandsons get to high school they could be driving the fastest car on the coast, so I just handed him a blank check I will keep you posted on what the Sharkwerks boys come up with, just use your imaginations I think it's going to be good

I am at 40k miles on my RS... but it has been parked more then driven in the last 3 years...
I only see the car twice a year in florida is my excuse. I use it as a grocery getter.

This article came up today.

Looks great for 148.000 miles car. Would be interesting to know the complete service history on such a car.
