Default Roebling Road this weekend

Nice memorial day weekend at Roebling Road

I have a lot to learn on this track, it is not a horsepower track

1:21.6 is my best

Need to work on 8,9......I spun there last year and take it slow

Using Toyo Ra1......my fronts have easily 50 heat cycles.....LOL

Car pushes, probably from tires. Moved front bar to full soft. Hope for better tomorrow

Interesting track... A lot of wide turns. Really fast paced track

It will make a better driver out of anyone......in a different way than most tracks

The entire track is off camber, sweeping wide turns. It is not easy to find time.

Good part is most corners are safe with run off

A 914 with wide tires will sit on your bumper through the corners

RA1's dont shine here.

A guy is here in a 996 GT3 with tons of suepension work

1:18 on Hoosier R80 slicks
1:22 on Nitto

Exactly Since all the turns are fast it is hard to become much faster

I've never driven Robeling, but hanestly it looks pretty boring from the video's I've seen. Upside is I bet you don't put any wear on the brakes.

I thought that at first......until I started working on improving time

While not the most memorable, it is easy on car and brakes

Track fees are low

I am with some friends this weekend....rented track...open for the whole weekend

I promise you it is worth the trip, makes you learn car control instead of point and shoot Sebring (dont get me wrong I love Sebring)

Very easy on brakes but the left front tire can take a beating at this track. It does appear boring when going by vids, but it is in fact a very technical track.

Most gains will come from the mastery of T-5 and being able to go flat out from 7-9...both of which I cant do! LOL

The noise limit sucks also...those with good listening skills can hear a slight lift at the sound meter (a second or two after START/FINISH) to avoid getting black flagged in my RRR vid.

It seems like a good technical track to improve driving skills, but may get boring after a while...

Maybe we could play Tokyo Drift through all those sweepers?

No, no, no!! You are wrong, very demanding fun track. Short, but good, you'll love it. You can spend 3 weekends in a row there and I promise you won't be bored. Go next chance you get, I would take it over Homestead and PBIR for sure.

It takes a lot trail braking rotation and balancing the car on brakes and throttle, yet you have to be smooth everywhere. I love it!

Roebling is a great track! A lot more challenging than it looks. 2 100+ mph corners and a 160 mph front straight all in 2.02 miles.

I'm going with a group of friends in August. Will be my first time. Guess I should be studying these videos closely. I agree with Mike though. From the videos anyway, it doesn't look very entertaining. I'm sure it's one of those "you gotta be there" type things.

DDog.....I am trying to make that event just to see the first timers from Sebring dust the track

I think Roebling is super technical and extremely challenging
