I think this is currently the hottest convertible. Aqua blue on grey natural full leather.

This should be a sticky like in the GT3 forum.

I'm in the market and started to track prices a little while ago: every time a desirable 997 C4S comes up I jot down it's specs, location, price, etc. Best value I have seen so far is this cream white one. It's been listed for a while already... bet it would of been gone a while ago if it was another color, or more expensive.

I am also in the market for a 997.2 manual, over 65k miles. There aren't too many 2009/2010 models to choose from due to the market crash then. Goods ones at the lower 30k don't stick around at dealers for long. I have not seen many cars for sale by owners, which is the way I would go. Also dealers try to grab those good priced for sale by owners cars to up sell them. I have seen a few cars snapped up by dealers and then add $6-7k to them.

Interesting find...... C4 with 145k miles for $21k. Properly maintained these cars will go forever. Would need to see more pics and detail before determining condition.

164k miles on the clock C2 07!
Priced too high but at least you know the cars can at least last this long

I'll keep this going. I won't bother with ones I find on the big sites like cars.com or auto trader since anyone can find those.
This one is local to me and I went to see/drive it. It's at a used car dealer that exclusively does trucks, but it's the owners car. It's super clean outside, couldn't find a blemish. He did have some amps installed in the frunk and some type of sub-woffer box built into the area behind the back seats. I wasn't too thrilled about that. Drove well, clutch felt fresh. If it was a 4S for that price I probably would of bought it.

How do we make this a sticky thread?
This is a great thread for 997 lovers. I know the market is not too hot right now, but I'm sure 997's will become collectibles. The 991s lack in emotion and driver involvement. They are so well sorted out that you only start having fun when you put your license at risk.

A couple months back my local dealer had an absolute unicorn of a 997. They had sold the car new in 2011 and it had just taken back in on trade in the day before. It was a 2011 C2S, Stone Grey Metallic with Black interior, 6sp manual and loaded with options. It was perfect and still smelled like a new car.
I wanted it and they would have taken mine on a trade in, but they wanted $70k for the car. I just couldn't get my wallet out of my pocket. Somebody besides me loved it - They sold it less than an hour after I drove it...

Here's the one I've been searching for. Too bad the price is ridiculous. I talked to the dealer and he instantly went down to $55k, but I still told him he needs his head examined since 997.2's can be had for that price. Hopefully this isn't an early sign that the price of these cars is starting to increase, at least not before I buy mine!
