Bright Blue?
I am looking for help with a Porsche color. I know I have seen it on at least (1) 997 Rennlist forum member car and I thought maybe several, but that may not be accurate. I am trying to figure out if that color if a "Porsche color" with a paint code or whether is was custom.
It is a very bright dark blue if that isn't a complete contradictory description on my part. It isn't Mexico, Cobalt or Aqua, but closer to Cobalt/Aqua than Mexico.
It's real close to this color, and frankly I need to figure out what this color is too, but probably the wrong forum for that.

Look in the 991 and 991 GT3 forums too. Sapphire Blue??

Was is this color blue? I saw this 06 at a McLaren dealer last Summer in Chicago. It was the first time I've ever seen a blue 911 so I took some pics of it. Gorgeous color!

I'm suggesting "Lapis Blue". A color offered in 2005-2007 for sure. My favorite Porsche blue of them all. Not a girly blue at all. Don't know the code but that should be easy to find. GL.

Sapphire Blue is the closest to the color of those mentioned so far. Now I am on a quest to find one of the 997's in question. The car is his avatar picture if I remember correctly.

Found it......
The color was Aqua Blue and not a 997. Though at the end of the day I think this is just a really good picture. After looking at several pictures I think I like Sapphire Blue a little better though they are pretty close.

The 997.1 cars had Cobalt Blue as an option (other than, of course, PTS). As they were transitioning to the 997.2 cars they went to Aqua Blue. It was retained for the 991.1 cars.
