Default Just bought 04 996TT man. cab. what should check first Newer even drove a P car.

Just won on ebay 996TT. Gone have PPI at Drivers Choice Motors
Longwood Fl. Than I have to pay for it and have it shipped to PA.
I'm Honda guy and like my 91 NSX, but Porsche was on my bucket list.
This one has only 20k miles. I guess the car will need all fluids etc.
Any advice is appreciated because I have no idea where to start.

Are you getting the ppi just so you know what you might need. Sounds like a post purchase inspection is all? Congrats and 996 is a great car!

To clean radiators I usually use A/C cleaner and use SS bug screen to protect it.
After my cross country trip in NSX and 8k trouble free miles, there was a lot of stuff in those screens.

Thank you.

Can't wait to drive that beast.

I hope that you're happy with the PPI and you follow through with the purchase.

Im a former NSX guy too. Had a CTSC, suspension, etc.... 2002 for many years (bought new). Was a great car

Congrats! My best friend has a '95 NSX, and it's fun how different the 2 cars are. Totally different driving experience, but both awesome in their own way.

I had a 95 NSX also and now after multiple Porsches I have an 04 TT cabriolet. I love my TT but wish I would have kept that NSX.

I'm a believer in establishing a maintenance baseline for my ownership so I know what schedule I'm on. Best of luck with this beauty!
