OEM Diverter valve change, now I am hearing blow off sound??
Is this common? The original OEM Bosch DVs were not failing but I figured that I would replace them when I did my 30,000 service along with plugs and solenoids. I had never noticed that noise before the change to replacement DV's.
Thank you for your help.

I swapped mine out for some Kayser brand from Pelican so I could send my Evoms units back to be rebuilt. Was getting secondary air codes so I suspected leaking or worn out DVs, Now I do to hear a slight honk coming off low boost accelerations do I'm still getting the the same 0491 0492 codes for the secondary air.

It happened to me last week.
The fix was very easy as one of the diverter valve hoses came off.
5 minute fix but I needed to clear the check engine code with Durametric before the limp mode would turn off.

Our cars are not supposed to make that blow off "whoosh" sound?
I assumed all turbos had some noise, but in my car I have not been able to distinguish any sort of Turbo noise.

the oem intake and exhaust setup mute all the turbo sound.
If we had an intake option that deleted the air box and replaced it with a cone filter you would probably hear the turbos loud and clear.
