Default New! SpeedTech 3.0 Dual Tips for 996TT

Due to numerous requests, we recently developed a brand new, previously unavailable 3" dual tip for all SpeedTech X-cellerator and X-Pipe systems. Because of the modular design of our 996TT exhaust, which has remained unchanged since inception, this tip will retro-fit to any SpeedTech X-cellerator or X-Pipe system ever sold and is available as an option on new orders, in lieu of the standard 4" round tip. It is also available as a retro-fit part for any existing systems that may desire a tip change! Standard finish is brush polished, these can also be ordered ceramic coated satin black.

Here are a two pictures we took today of the tips installed...

Does the exhaust flow through both pipes finally with these, unlike your 2.5 twin tips ?

Hi Richard,

Yes, both outlets are active.

We make only one side active on the 2.5 tips for those than want a quiet system. Otherwise, we make both outlets active on the 2.5 dual tips for a slightly louder sport sound.

It's nice to have options. On FB you posted the tip detached and it looked very well made.

FWIW, at John's suggestion, I went with his single 4" round tips on my new X-flow unit (from a set of very expensive, great-looking X50 "double oval" tips). I simply love the new look. It's all-business.
As with everything John does, I'm sure these are top notch too.

Thanks J, The 3" dual tips look great on the car, but I have to stand by my long term recommendation of the 4" round tip sounding the best. Once again, I had the opportunity to test back to back and nothing beats the sound of our 4" round sound engineered tip. The duals are close, but the edge goes to the round for ultimate high pitched exotic scream! We hit the 996TT sweet spot with those tips. When I put them back on, they looked great, too.

Dumbest question ever.

How do I know if I have a speed tech exhaust? Bought the car with what looks like the speed tech design, but it had no receipts. So is there a dead give away that lets me know it's a speed tech product?
