Default 996TT Dual Mass Clutch kit $1,595.00

Sachs Race Engineering 764 Pressure Plate, Sachs 996 GT2 clutch disk, Throw out bearing, and pressure plate bolts.

The NEW Dual Mass flywheel is available for $895.00 Pictured.

This is a great kit for those that have a tune and turbocharger upgrades to "almost" 700HP..

Guide tube is extra and in stock if needed.

For those that have higher horsepower, I will quote you the Clutchmasters reinforced pressure plate.

long as you've got a 764 pp? good to go. but iirc?? the 2.5 allows for a lwfw, while this one needs to be setup and have the 764 pp included at ( *some? ) cost. in addition to the actual lwfw!

What power level is this good to and what does it cost? I need a clutch and the Sachs 2.5 is at the top of the list at the moment.

The factory Sachs Motorsport rating for the 764 pressure plate is 890Nm..

The 4.0 liter kit has been run successfully on the track (road course) at 600 to 625WHP with matching torque.

If you are drag racing your car (heavy launches), I'd recommend a different clutch kit. The organic/metal sintered clutch disk should be changed to a fibertough "glass" 8 puck arrangement.

If you are over 700HP, a reinforced pressure plate is recommended.

Installed kevins Dual mass kit and love it. Smooth installation. Clutch is super easy to use and quiet, coming from a Carbonetics multi-disc setup. Highly recommended.

Kevin,

It's not long till it's going to be clutch time for me. my ultimate goals will be around 575-600 whp. How is the driveability of this one and the 4L kit. I need something close to stock and not too heavy for the spouse.

Or if you're like me and are in touch with your feminine side. I have one in my 997tt, feels stock and holds great. I have a feeling my 996tt clutch will meet it's maker with the inbound tune (gulp) from UMW.
