For me, the GT2 setup brought me closer to speedo reality.

Ok girls......
Do you think a 255/35-19 front and 305/30-19 rear would clear without rolling the fenders? They are within spec RPM wise and would be on a 9” rim up front and an 11 out back (as spec'd by Mich/Tire Rack)?
How about 245/35-18 and a 295/35-18 on the stock 8.5" & 11" Rims?

Rivals in the Rain?
Not thinking standing water but curious how they are on the street/back roads and around town.
Will be at the track several times this year and need to order new rear PS2s now if I want them vs Rivals/Nt01 or ???
Thanks for you insight on the Rivals

They were fine in the rain. Although, most of the rain driving was just interstate. I have no doubt the PS2 will be better in the rain (on the road), but since this is not my daily, I get to pick and choose the days to bring it out.
I will say they are awful in the cold (below about 45*) until you really get them up to temperature (at the track). The are rock hard and noisy with not much grip, but this is to be expected on an extreme summer tire.

Duc, do some leg work on your own man. You keep asking the same question. This forum is less of the flashy big rim and tire group. There are numerous Porsche forums you can search on for info. No one on here is going to give you a definitive answer about 5 different tires and shapes and sizes across the board they have personally used to know if it rubbed or not.
If you are running a stock suspension then you will be fine with the 11's in the rear and 8.5's in the front even with a big tire size.

re: 19's,..then it's gonna "rub" at the very least at hard lock. blech.
anyone that really knows and has experimented ( with rare tracking only exceptions ) runs the car with gt2 sized tires and wheels or maybe even a 9" in front. but for me and canyons the 9" in front plowed. so back to 8.5X12. perfect.
*proper* or gt2 sized ( 40 x 40 offset 0r 40 X 45mm ) wheels or similar X 235/40/18 X 315/30/18 and roll the rears.
don't ( try?! ) to re-invent the wheel! porsche already did it for us. see 996 gt2 for proof.
done.
