any one else notice if you don't drive your car for a week or longer then the key fob doesn't work? I have to use the key to unlock then the key fob works normally.

is this something normal to save the battery etc

I think this is normal. After about a week the electronics shut down I believe to save the battery.

Yes. per the owner's manual. You must use the key to unlock your car if it sits longer than 5 days.
