I'm thinking most people who own a 996 Turbo are enthusiastic about their car.

Thank you! Yeah, 20,000 miler all stock...already spoken to Dave about his eram system, as you can see mine is stuck up. I have to tackle the CV boots, already replaced the alternator and serpentine belt. The car has just been sat in a garage. Very solid powerful car, far more impressive than I realised.

nice. get used to it. don't ever underestimate it. it's a learning curve and that right pedal can teach you some lessons rather quickly and unexpectedly. enjoy safely and happy modding. lots to learn here,

Thanks. I'm well aware of the right pedal danger already, it's an animal. Anyway, have to get under it and get these CV boots done before any more fun. Catch you later.

Looking at buying one, can anyone tell me how much the wood option costs? I really like the look of wood on gray or red leather.

Also I am disappointed with the cd tray storage as I usually have more than 4 CDs at any given time.

The wood option has many different levels.

You can get just a few bits or a full 'woody'.

Full woody came in close to 10 large.

Some people love wood, others not so much. When/if the wood delaminates, replacements are spendy.

It is more of a GT look versus rocket racer look.

wood in these cars always leads me to believe they were trying to capture former jaguar owners. it's just too genteel for my taste in THIS car, others it works, like maybe aston martins or certainly jags..i dunno.. english cars..and agree on that "delaminating issue". that stuff is NOT cheap to repair/replace.

Atrox, I thought you always have full wood in all your cars?

That is beautiful I wonder if it will increase the delivery wait time.
