Default 996GT3 Euro Buckets ands Schroth 6 point Harness Installation - Look correct? Issues?

I had a lot of fun this weekend (semi-sarcasm) installing the GT3 Euro buckets and Schroth harnesses. It actually wasn't that hard but I took my time as this was my first time installing harnesses. I still don't know if I have it 100% right. Can you please take a look at these pictures and let me know if you see anything majorly wrong with the configuration? Did I miss any spacers or washers?

BTW, I used 911SLOW's image to mount the harnesses to the seats...

Anyway, please let me know if you see anything majorly wrong (and if not, hopefully this can help serve as a reference for other people).

Thanks in advance!

Oh and question, you should be able to unhook the cam lock from the sub-belts right? I tried pushing a hex key into the hole (in the center of the cam lock) here (to depress the spring), but it didn't feel like I was depressing a spring. Just felt like I was digging into non-hard plastic.

Stolen image:

Any ideas? The cam-lock should come off right?

Thanks

I take it you'll be installing those shoulder collar rings on shoulder bar to prevent spreading or cut up rollbar tubing with ziptoes would work. Mike

yeah, I'd like to get some cuffs for the harness...any suggestions?

Do not want to use zip ties on the actual roll bar

If your bar is powdercoated, then you probably want custom sized collars. There is a link somewhere around here.

Just a RSS Hybrid 930 bar...its just the standard black. Would appreciate the thread for the custom collars though

Sorry for the bad pic, but here's how the roll bar padding / zip ties look on mine. Just did it, and it seems like it will work fine. Not sure it looks great. But necessary: my GMG bar has a bend, so the harness sliding changes the tension.

I did it that way too but collars definitely look cleaner. Rollbar padding also good bumpstop for not scuffing the seatbacks. Mike

No, the the sub belts & lock do not separate. When not in use just lift the front cushion section & lay it forward so it hangs over the front of the seat & cover with the cushion again.

The rest of your install looks absolutely factory. Don't worry about the shoulder belts moving on the horizontal bar; they don't! They way you have them is exactly how they are supposed to be installed - there's copious documentation on the Scroth website.

Thanks...good to know. Just curious about the sub belts and lock because in this video, HMS shows they do come apart:

But yes, I can definitely just lay them under the front cushion when not in use.

I also already bought collars so the shoulder harnesses don't move horizontally...found some black ones on Ebay.

How are you finding the lack of adjustment on these seats ?

I have them on my club sport and just tried these side mounts
But no go . At least not without cutting a square hole and
Another for the slider .

Anything else out there for these seats ?

Adjustments on the rails? These are all stock OEM parts (including the side rails) and they seem to work well...I don't have any problems
