Default PSS10 installed on my C4S. Advice on settings

New PSS10 coil overs were installed a few weeks ago on my 2003 C4S. I also replaced the strut tops with new X73 mounts, new strut bearings and new sway bar bushings. My Porsche dealer did the install and set the height with a drop from US/CAN of 30mm (Front) and 20mm (Rear). Basically between ROW and X73 height and to get the nose down like on the ROW cars. Also using H&R spacers: 5mm front, 15mm (rear).
My Tech set the shock firmness to 3 (front) and 5 (rear) for now. He's going to recheck the alignment and make adjustments in a month to give everything a chance to settle.
Those of you running PSS10s, what have you found to be the best setting for street (bumpy northeast streets!)? I only occasionally get to track the car nowadays, so that's not a priority.

So far I'm really enjoying the change after 10 years on the stock set up. Between the X51 engine and the new suspension, I can't see myself ever getting rid of this car.

This is on my to do list for my c4s. How would you compare the ride to your stock suspension?

It's more progressive than the stock. Less jarring when you hit expansion joints.

treat yourself to set of H&R sways, perfect compliment to the PSS10's

same setup on my C2, running 5 / 5 for now, but the heavier nose of the C4,
3 should be nearly perfect

Curious about the distance from floor to front and rear fender lips, and subsequent amount of "rake". I'm also anxious to hear if the PSS10s do a better job of controlling nose "float" than the PSS9s without having to go full or nearly full stiff.

That looks great, I was thinking of ending up with the same coilovers and spacers on my C4S eventually too. Does the rear have a little (.5-1 degree?) of added camber?

Edit: where did you end up buying the PSS10 setup?

Nice setup - I have a 2002 C4S and am in Calgary with crappy roads - daily driven
Looks like twin to your car with the red S badge and euro side markers, quad tips, and lowered look

I installed Ohlins coilovers, Tarett GT3 sway bars and end links and stock top mounts, RSS dogbones
I also played with the shock settings, started as per Ohlins initial factory settings, then firmed it up to be 5 clicks from full hard, now I've scaled it back to 7 clicks from full soft (Ohlins have 30 clicks)

If you haven't done so yet I also suggest the RSS dogbones, they made a great difference to the feel, and I agree on the upgraded sway bars
I'm also running Turbo hollow spokes which are lighter than the stock solid spoke C4S wheels

Nice twin! I also have the hollow spokes on mine! Kept the original wheels for winter. I purchased all the parts from Gert at Carnewal in Belgium. His prices were significantly lower than what I could find in Toronto even taking into account the Custom/Duty charges. Everything arrived within 4 days of ordering.

I think you are 10mm lower all over than a row or normal lower spring would be. if you raised 10mm you would be at that average height. despite what the dealer says

Pongo;
Carnewal's prices are not bad at all from a Cdn perspective.
Did you have to pay brokerage fees, etc?
I wonder why they use the nomenclature P96 vs 996. Actually they prefix every variant with a P.
Thanks for the tip!

I wanted it to be 10mm lower all around vs ROW. This way it is exactly between the euro X73 sport suspension and ROW.

I did pay brokerage fees but with FedEx it was only a flat fee of $10! Way better than the gouging that UPS does! Of course there's duties and HST, but in total it was about $4000 CAD to my door for my full order of stuff.

The dealer quoted me $5000 +tax for only the PSS10 kit and the other parts I wanted would have been pretty much double what Gert charged.

Thank you, Phil!
Even compared with the PSS10 price from Pelican, you have come out on top by quite a few $100.
They are a great alternate source for such items in my view.
Superb and cheers from the wet coast!
