Default Back in the saddle!

I had a 1998 C2S back in 2004, but sold it. (I know, I know). Did the Vette thing for awhile, then a 2001 Boxster S. A few cars later, I just got this 2003 C4S from a PCA member in Santa Monica, CA. Well documented with fresh IMS/RMS/clutch job. Very nice inside and out, belying the 106k mi. on it. I did the fly in, drive home trip, a relatively short one, to metro Phoenix.

Need to take some better, newer pics, but, you get the idea..
It's great to be back in a Porsche!

Congrats.

What did you pay if you do not mind sharing? I'd like to get a 911 one of these days and one like this seems most likely with my budget.

Welcome back. This is my first 911 and I am not disappointed. had a 1986 944 Turbo and that was also a great car. Currently the wife is driving a 2016 Vette Cabrio and I must say that the refinement is finally there but since it's an automatic (wife drove the 944 turbo 5M but refuses to touch a manual since) I felt the need to het a manual hence the 996. I am sure you will love the new ride. The engine sound is intoxicating.

Welcome! That is a good looking car. I like the carbon shifter and e-brake option. That looks nice.

Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, a beautiful silver 03-04 C4S!

Congrats sir, I'm sure you'll enjoy it for the both of us until I can snag one of my own

Silver 996's are incredibly rare you may have trouble finding one.

Really, that seems to be the most common color I'm seeing. Be it in the C2, or C4S.

Now seal gray on the other hand, I've only found 1 C4S in that color.

He was being a wise-***. The only thing more common than arctic silver 996's are GT Silver Metallic 40AE's.

Haha, that's what I thought...but he didn't put a cute little emoji indicating that he wasn't for real

Honestly, I like any 911 I've ever seen....some colors just accentuate the lines better imho.

Saw a 04 C4S in white in person recently, and it was damn good looking. White seems pretty rare.

The Germans have been reluctant to overplay white since the mid 40's.
