Scott - I've always loved your car, most defInitely one of the more special 993tt's on rennlist. Glad to see you've taken it to even higher extremes.
Enjoy the tt and retirement in good health!

Thanks, always a work in progress
We'll see about the bumpers, They take up a lot of space around the house.
Nurburger - Thank you for the kind words! I have admired your car as well

I wanted to mention one of the things we found that should interest most of you with these 20 year old cars. I had my shop send the injectors out to check the flow rate before we reassembled. It's a good thing we did. If you look at the results below, injectors 1 and 2 were completely blocked when first tested

My car's A/F ratio is on the rich side according the OBDII readings so it may not be a problem but certainly not as good as bench testing individual injector flow rates. Do you have the A/F reading from before?
Thanks

Injector condition really varies on these cars - I just pulled mine and had them tested, ultrasonically cleaned, and flow tested again. 2 of the 6 had a bit of a compromised spray pattern, but nothing serious. 60,000 miles of use.
I am going to do another car in a month or so, it will be interesting to see what they test like as a point of comparison.
Cheers
Mike

Super clean TT! Let me know if you take your car out to Super Car Sunday in Woodland Hills or if you go on a Mulholland run with some Rennlisters. I would love to see your car in person some day.

Well done Scott! I am running the same Crane Dual CDI in my car.
The NA ECU has the ignition driver for both coils. The turbo does not. Pull one coil wire at a time to confirm both banks of plugs are working. The exhaust note at idle is distinctively different when both banks are working. Great upgrade!
There is a lot to be gained by running some different turbos. Just something to consider down the line.
