The top picture....see the screw...it has what appears to be a cosmetic cut out around the screw. Why is the lens cut away in that area for what appears to simply accommodate the screw....i think i like it...but I've never seen that.

I guess it's just the angle or lighting of the photo. It is indeed lens color like others. It appeared to be blacked out. sorry. Joe

I have RUF tips and front strut bar on mine and like it a lot.

Do you have black front carpets? Swap the rear seats to black and black will blend in nicely.

Classy mix of gray and black.. Well done!

Thanks, I've got the black RUF carpets. When I bought the car I wasn't a big fan of the grey/black interior. Was actually thinking about changing it to all black, but decided against it. I like your idea with black rear seats, anyone have black rear seats for sale?
Working on steering wheel, shifter and e brake? Has anyone used a 996 shifter and modified it to fit in 993?

Updated the interior a little bit.

I know this has been done many times before. But what the heck.

Took the 996 shifter out of my 6.3 track car and put a cup wheel in that.

Dallas Custom put some nice alcantara on it and now it is installed it in the 993tt together with new shifter and e brake.

Very nice Peter. White dials would break up the all black dash and blend in the gray interior nicely ...

Exactly! Also a manual boost gauge instead of the clock.

Not to bad, probably just require plenty of patience.

The day came when my kids started to complain about getting in and out of back seat. Sold the 996 buckets and just installed 997gt3 sofas.
Have to say, they look great together with the alcantara wrapped steering wheel/shifter/e brake.

And more importantly, kids are happy.
