exciting, hectic
amazing he avoided impact just before the 8 minute mark
front tires gone half way thru the race, tough
great cut off rear bumper on the purple car, looks cool with the big turbo sticking out

That engine sound is glorious.

Why does the driver have a tampon dangling from the roof?

Wonder if the safety level of prep was like the journalist car from last year--not even a roll bar, and harnesses merely attached to the rear seat belt mounts.

How so? Driven Tsukuba? I've only done sim work on the config, and it's a glorified autocross track. Don't know how you approach wheel-to-wheel, but what else you gonna do with a guy just plain blocking? Tries to stick his nose in early (understeer), tries a couple of rimshots later (no grip out there). On the final turn I counted at least three different attempts on a line, probably all of which I'd have also considered in trying to get a run on the car in front going into T1.

He won the race.

Yes, driven Tsukuba many times on Gran Truismo and Forza I am not talking anything to do with blocking, I am talking specifically lines, not passing.
