Engine is like artwork!!!
Any chance you could ask them if they are willing to sell the catch can setup? I'm rebuilding my "RSR" engine this winter and would really prefer having a catch can instead of running the breathers into the intake.
My engine is non-varioram.

Dan, the Catch Can catches any excess oil that comes from the crank cases. All engines have a pipe that runs from the crank cases into the inlet manifold that feeds excess oil back into the engine which is then burnt and sent out the exhaust. In this case we run the pipe from the crank case into the CC. This eliminates a oil accumulating in the inlet manifold particularly if you over fill the oil tank.
This set up is not really legal for street cars because pollution rules say the pipe must run into the inlet manifold. You also need room to mount it in the engine bay. I am not running the heater buster fan set up.

The catch can cost approximately AU$600.00. If you are interested PM me with your email address.

Spotless almost, antiseptic clean very nice , are these drop links going to be run with lowered height and probably not necessary but any thought as to brake backing plates?
I only ask because I'm very close to the same spot installing my 3.8 RS engine and suspension and the backing plates turned out to be the small set so an ordered Turbo
set has just arrived as replacements...Bert

K722070-The half shafts ARE very fancy.
Bert, it will not stay spotless for long but at the moment it does look good. I am not running the brake backing plates. I have always removed them to help the air flow around the discs. I don't think there are any pit falls in doing this except on every wet days when the pads can get wet.

These are photo's of the standard 993 Calipers. They were not in good order so I cleaned off the paint, got them repainted put in new seals, dust covers, bleed nipples and yellow nickel plated the metal parts.
I think I have over spent on refurbishing them but they look great.
I don't think will get my money back when I sell them.
