Mark-- My shot of your yellow masterpiece being admired by 2 "judges"
Good thing you didn't desert yours. Here's what happened to a friend that left his Speedster alone after everyone else left:
...a gang of judges came along to pick on it
Photos by Lufteknic.com & me ^^

Met a very cool 993 owner who walked up & asked if I was on RL. He said he's a lurker here.
I crossed paths with him, his wife (Laura) & son (Ben) several times.
He's a PCA region president, & won his Concours class

Greg-- If you're lurking out there now:
I have photos of you at the Concours banquet receiving your trophy. You've got my e-mail address: I can reply with them attached, or post here if you prefer.

Speaking of Concours judging, shocking to watch the judge literally rip the cushions off our OEM Recaro Speedster painted hardback sport bucket seats.
Otherwise very nice & amazingly knowledgeable on what he was judging, he half-jokingly said the car was too nice & there must be something he overlooked.
Luckily, the cushions were velcroed
...& my bride did an amazing job preparing 'Speedy' - scored the least deductions of any entrant, becoming 1 of only 2 to win multiple first-place awards.
Back to the judge ripping cushions out & pouncing on our Porsche for imperfections - almost as if our red 993 was this red suitcase

^^ Speaking of videos & Speedsters...
It was amazing to meet a true part of 911 Speedster history at the Concours, but:
It was nerve-wracking to compete with the very same 1985 factory prototype that I've hunted down pictures of & posted on RL.
Read more about the high-tier award winner here. Its owners were SO great to meet, as well. The car & their charisma drew crowds to these Speedster celebrities.
After judging was completed, Rick & Lori were interviewed about the rare Speedster. Keep an eye out for their upcoming PCA video

Tony-- You would've been right at home with 2,000 other enthusiasts that registered (for comparison with last year's amazing Monterey, CA Parade: ~2,300 attended there).

That's probably a good thing. That luggage appears to be undamaged.

painful to watch the judge literally rip the cushions off OEM Recaro Speedster hardback bucket seats.
Was as if my car was this piece of luggage
1971 American Tourister "Gorilla" Commercial - YouTube
The owner of a Speedster more rare & historically-significant, judged in the same class lamented the interior inspection, too.
Can't complain about progress, though:
Looking at the current spreadsheet of ALL cars judged in the Concours, ours appears to have the least deductions of any
...even compared to ~ten 2015 models.
Ironically, our interior had zero deductions (rest of the car was docked).
Full disclosure: my wife cleaned the interior -- I did the rest of the car, 'earning' deduction
