I have a little road trip planned down to Leavenworth, WA next weekend. I was hoping to get some new tires installed in the Seattle area on my way down.
I tried Cantrell but they are booked till the end of the month.

Any recommendations on a good shop to install tires? I would be buying the tires from Tire Rack and shipping them to the shop.

Graeme - I had a set of tires installed at Discount Tire Kirkland before and was happy with their service. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

i have had most if not all my tires installed at discount tires. i have a friend that works at the bellevue location if you need it done soon. he is a manager an may be able to give you our company pricing.

I will second the Kirkland Discount Tire...got my tires through Tire Rack and picked them up there and they did the install...very happy.

If you need an alignment at the same time, Tru-line in Bellevue is a first rate alignment shop that mounted my tires shipped from Tire Rack.

I have tire rack ship mine to Gerber Motorsport for mount and balance. They work with group 2 a few blocks away to do alignment.

Cantrell is very good - had a set put on the RUF's and no issues - they even taped the weights with silver tape (using in racing ...). Too bad they are booked .. . (did not read all your posting - sorry!)
