Awesome blast from the past! Even though I've killed countless brain cells I remember that day. And Eric was the only guy to ever race a 993 cab in PCACR...

That was one of the nicest sounding 993's I've ever heard. I was 2 cars behind him when we left that shop. I'll never forget that sound.

The first Sunday of the month from 8-11 there is a large Cars & Coffee in downtown Lake Mills, Wi.
It's evolved into a real nice event. There are a lot of Chicago guys that come up. Last time there was over 100 cars there. At least 20 Porsche's, classic Ferrari's, etc..
There is a fellow from your area that has a 959 that he brings ever so often. Would be great to catch up. It's about a 2 hour 15 minute drive from the loop.

I'd love to make it sometime. But I moved out to the Rockies almost ten years ago. However, I still do the clubrace at Elkhart every Labor Day weekend. Bring the new Lambo over this year. As you know it's less than two hours from Madtown.

I penciled it in on my schedule.

Great. Send a PM prior to the weekend, but I'll be with Eurosport Racing. Since they are a race sponsor, their trailers are always opposite the tower.

Hey Mark!

Yes, Skip is hard to miss. In that pic you'll also spy a couple of other racers I think you know...
the aforementioned Eric Cyranski, and Jeff Phillips. Also David Rabjohns, but he never spent time on the 993 board.

The trunk is a joke too. It won't fit a case of wine.

It's going to be the first time in over 20 years, that I am a one performance car guy. We got my wife a new SLK last year so we are good on convertibles. However, she lets me use that car about as often as I am going to let her use the LP.
