Default Amps drawn by 993 tire air compressor

There does not seem to be an extra fuse in the stock air compressor kit. I am curious how many amps this unit draws when operating normally to fill a tire.

Mine kept blowing the cigarette lighter fuses (10A IIRC), luckily I had an assorted pack of spares and after blowing 3 of them I went up 5 amps, problem solved.

No wiring fires so far. Mind you, I rarely use the compressor.

But it is a very good idea to keep an assortment of spare fuses - you don't want to be stuck with a blown fuse when you REALLY need to put air in the emergency spare...

I operated mine from my 993 with the original fuse on kids plastic swimming pool and had no issues. This may not have been a tough test however! Sounds like I should expect to use a 10 Amp fuse for any future application not drawing from a 993, which will be the case when the kids visit again and we use my wife's wagon.
Best,
Charlie

I think that is a 25amp fuse in that slot. No idea what the pump draws
