Why it took Rudy twelve hours to San Francisco from San Diego - Hwy 1, the scenic route! I'm sure he will advise when he saw enough……
This AM at Alice's Restaurant, top of the hill above Woodside. Rudy and his Hawaiian ride. Rumor has it that Rudy has an appointment with Bruce Canapa about a car, Porsche, of course, but we're not sure, or telling, which one! That's up for Rudy to explain! IainM will stage out up the road to film a video of the convoy. Alice's restaurant is listed in every biker travel guide so due diligence is the order of the day and the sun is out!

That was a great morning - thanks all.
Rudy, thanks again for breakfast and have a great time at Fister and a good / safe trip back home.
Jeremy, thanks for figuring out the tour at Canepa. That was big fun.
Good seeing everyone who made it and meeting Rudy. I'll post pics after dealing with the weekend chores. Big fun!

A great day and fun meeting other rennlisters! The cars did get pretty dirty...but they didn't melt. Rudy- great to see you and the new car and thanks for breakfast! Canepa site and tour was better than expected (a must see), thanks Jeremy for getting us piggybacked on the other club's tour. And thanks to JD for organizing the gathering.

My pleasure! It was big fun and easy.
I doubled down this morning and took the bike down skyline to 84 to Pescadero to 1 and back up 92 to home. It was crystal clear and dry at 6 am and pretty much had the roads to myself. This will prove to be a hard weekend to beat!

Hey James,
We were saying we couldn't see the difference between NB and WB from the restaurant but this pic shows the transition from 964 to 993NB to 993WB quite nicely.
