Who is refinishing your wheels? What did that cost?

Am in Minneapolis- we have a place here called Twin City Wheel repair. I have two sets of wheels. One is getting refinished with TC Wheel- complete redo of each wheel is $ 125 a wheel.

I have a set of Chrome Hollow spokes as well- Am having one redone at California Chrome for $ 150 plus shipping. the other set is the stock silver paint. Can't decide which I like better... And PLEASE DON'T start the chrome bashing.... I've heard it and the jury is 50/50 on the look. Arena Red looks pretty Freekin' good with the chrome wheel and lowered profile which I have.

Here's the car. Pss9's ROW Height, Golden Rod and Short Shift, Motor sound package with wide ovals, Adding the turbo ducts when it get s painted- HID lights

looks great, my twin!!! I also have the entire fornt end done in Xpel Ultimate. I highly recommend this stuff. I am not familiar with the 3M stuff but if you get some light scratches from washing etc, once the car sits in the sun, the scratches literally melt away. This stuff is amazing.

All seals are being replaced and clearbra added to the front fenders behind the wheel to keep rocks from chipping that area as well. All in $ 4,000 in work. I'll haver Before and After shots later next week- does this sound about right for the paint work? granted there is a lot of Clearbra going on - but thought i'd check. Should pretty much make the car pristine.

Wheels are also being refinished this week ( whole other project) and new rear tires. Where's my crap ons and ice pick- this slope is getting slippery!!
6000 miles of driving a year does not a garage queen make! You're just a fastidious owner.

My car might be a garage queen, 1,800 miles per year
just to lazy to take the car cover off.
to buzzy cycling.
How is that!
the only one to beat that is dead and the wife is selling it.
Or their name is OPO and have to many to drive.

TC is down the road from my place. They do nice work.

Who's doing/did your paint work? I just had my 993 C2 repainted. Very happy with it. Although I wish my car wasn't black.

Collision Center in Golden Valley. Recommended by a few Nord Stern Members. Goes in Monday. Had a couple shops look at it and they were the most professional. Also, when I showed up to get the estimate, there was another 993 getting work done- they said they see a LOT of Porsches.

Next thing I want to do is repaint the calipers... have a lot of chips in the red paint.

Due to a combination of lousy weather and little time, the past several years I've driven my 993 less than 1,000 miles per year. Mine has definitely become a garage queen.

Xpel ultimate is the best you can get. I highly recommend this stuff. It will save you from any small rock chips that you may get from highway driving.

Also, definitely wait the 30 days between paint and clear film install. I had an e30 M3 track car a while back that I had repainted and installed the clear film on the front bumper. Lets just say when I went to replace the film the paint peeled with it.

Since we are showing ARENA RED love..... Here is mine at last years Porsche Concours at the Elms mansion in Newport, RI. I can't wait for winter to be over so I can drive the 993 again!!!!!

XPEL is the best. 3M fades over time. Just had my rear wheel arches done and is barely visible.

I want your mods. Great choices. You will love it when your car is back with fresh paint and stone guards.

The PO of my car had it repainted, paint restored, new OEM stone guards, refinished wheels by Greens in Vancouver BC. I also need to repaint my calipers. Just not sure where to get the replacement stickers.
