Los Angeles Annual Porsche Lit/Toy/Memorabilia Meet coming up on March 7th, 2015!
Ladies & Gentleman:
The annual Los Angeles Porsche 'memorabilia' show takes place once again at the LAX Hilton on Saturday morning March 7th. I have been attending this event since the late 1980's and it's one of the highlights of my Porsche-related calendar of events every year!

Later that Saturday, 'European Collectibles' will hold their 'Open House' in Costa Mesa:
Plus these other businesses:

On Sunday morning March 8th, there is the fabulous Porsche Swap Meet & Porsche Car Show at the the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. This event takes over from the great Dunkel Brothers 'Open House' in years past!
*******************
And if you get into town early on Thursday March 5th or Friday March 6th, there are a number of Porsche businesses in the greater LA area that are hosting 'open houses' and encourage all to drop by!

This is one of the best Porsche-filled weekend entertainment of the year! If you can get to LA this week, do not miss it!

Hope there's more room and wider aisles. Last year the crowd was overpowering and you couldn't pass between the tables without pushing and tugging. I'm not prone to any phobias but I had to leave earlier than I wanted.

Yes, I will be trying to make the European Collectibles evening event and stop to see fellow R Gruppe Paul Kramer at AutoKennel!
Bring a sharp blade, look 'tough', skip the deodorant....they'll give you a wide berth in the aisles at the Lit Meet at the Hilton! Be assertive, bro...

We will be at the Hilton as Vendors on Saturday. We have no idea where our table will be, but please stop by and say hi. It is always super crowded early on, so if you are not looking for something rare or specific come a little later and there will be more room to roam.
So glad to be back home
See you there!

My wife is pushing for us to go to the lit meet sat morning.
can you point us to an overview of the vendors / wares that are typically there?
i've heard rumors that the show is 356 centric.
if so, this is of little interest to me.
Thank you
Craig

The best vendors are all privateers. For most of them, it is just a part-time venture that they do to fund their hobby - which is collecting this stuff! It is frankly an addiction. And you always hope for that rare first time vendor that has never heard of eBay and unloads all of his rare memorabilia at 1960's prices! We love those guys and gals!
Listen to your wife and give it a try! It's fascinating to see and experience it.

I'm going to try and hit up Steve Hogue and Callas tomorrow mid day. Hopefully I'll have time to get to the lit and toy show on sat too.
Hope to see some Rennlisters this weekend!
