Yes, that would look "factory" on your 993. Maybe attach with Gorilla Glue for a real molested look.

Using Duct tape would make the mod completely reversible! ;-)

Ever get in an academic discussion about a part or mod you know you'll never need?

...IIRC, OEM armrests can't be added to Porsche hard-back sport seats like my factory Recaro Speedster buckets, but RLer Nathan1 & I shot the breeze during PCA Parade &/or 993Fest about these 'unobtanium' parts anyway.

Solution for softbacks: VW Vanagon parts!
German OEM & reversible - with no duct tape

It looks like there are three pairs left in Germany for the Classic Grey Leather. For more information and Pricing Click Here. If someone else is interested in another color, feel free to PM me and I can see what I can find out for availability.

Just scored a NOS set of these in the original packaging. I'll post some pictures when I receive as well as document the installation.

Maybe one of these could be fitted?

Default armrest

Instead of shoving a blanket between the seats, as suggested, I opt for a 6-pack of 16 oz Doppelbock Dunkel with a small piece of foam on the top.

Same here, adopters of this practice need to know that the box has to be on its side oriented to deliver the cans easily as you drive.

I looked for armrests with built in cup holders like the home theater chairs but unfortunately that wasn't an option.

Sunroof delete---I have never seen this. I looked for three years to find the right car sunroof delete option but could not find same. I finally gave up after three years of searching and got the exact car wanted but with a sunroof. I believe they do exist I just was never able to find one.

Default OEM armrest option N/A with Hardback Racing seat option ..

PAG indicated no way for the "armrest option" when spec'ing the optional Racing Seats (hardback version) when asked while ordering the 993 C2S. ...Screw the armrest option as heated hardback seats were a must option.
