OT: Other Iconic Cars
On the recent "C4 vs Camry" thread, someone mentioned the Jeep Wrangler as another iconic vehicle, like the 911. That made me wonder what other iconic cars are out there. I'm defining iconic as "generally consumer grade" (excluding race cars and limited production runs), and furthermore cars that are/were recognizable throughout the years. Here's my list - some of which will immediately break my definition of iconic, but since I'm the OP, I can do that!
911 - even now the 991 is pretty recognizable as a 911, although the form has shifted quite a bit since the 996 was introduced
WV Bug - the new bug looks like a modern rendition of the old bug.
Corvette - this has changed a lot over the years, but I think there are long periods of evolution between the various redesigns. I think most Vettes are pretty recognizable as Vettes.
Jeep Wrangler: looks like nothing else, especially with those headlights and front grill. I'd like to own one sometime, even though I hear they drive slow, badly, and suck gas like crazy. My wife had one before we met, and she's not a fan anymore.
BMW 2002: A long and clear evolution into the 3-series, at least until Chris Bangle (or whatever his name is) managed to muck BMW's designs all up.
Ferarri Testarossa: On this list due to millions of posters in millions of boys' rooms worldwide.
Lamborghini Countach: see above.
Ford Mustang: Not sure if this should be included. They still kinda look the same (long hood, short deck), but not really the same. I've never driven one, have no interest in them whatsoever. I've always preferred the european interpretation of the sports car to the American muscle, quarter mile interpretation.
Thoughts? What's on your list of iconic cars within reach of the average or well-to-do automobile aficionado?

And of course, the Citroen 2CV. Ugly and pretty at the same time. There's a Chris Harris review of it somewhere on Youtube. I'm a fan - of both the 2CV and Chris Harris.

Drifting
I would consider my stable complete with a pristine E39 M5 and a cab F355 gated 6 speed, non of that flappy paddle F1 crap.
