you have a 993 turbo?

edit: assuming you do... otherwise that is the right part # for the bolt
if not, then there is another issue...

For the turbo engine carrier you want to use this bolt: 900 082 118 09

yes, 105mm is correct. I just measured the ones off a car on the lift - we have the engine partially dropped for a clutch job, so those bolts were being used with a set or RS mounts - not a Turbo, but a C4S (same for all the naturally aspirated cars).

Is the engine jacked up tight up to the mounts? When the nuts are fully tightened, there is not a lot of thread exposed.

Cheers,

Mike

good advice, you need to have engine raised snug against the carrier to get proper fitment.

Thanks everyone for their info, I must not have had the engine jacked up snug against the carrier. I will try again

110mm is standard, turbo needs longer

Porsche must sell 5000 times the amount of the RS engine mounts than they built 964/993 RS's. (Among other RS parts) impressive that they can meet the demand.

Also make sure you aren't installing the engine mount upside down. The bump side of the main piece should be facing downwards and not upwards. I hope that sentence makes sense...
