Ad verbiage:

"One owner, California car, absolutely terrific condition. Runs great, looks great, sounds great. In immaculate condition. 105K miles. Purchased and serviced always at Carlsen Porsche in Redwood City. All records and papers available. Book stamped for all services performed. Last of the air-cooled engines, fast becoming a collector's item. This is a Carrera 2, manual, with driver side power seats. Factory original DVD player and radio. Xenon headlights, wheel logo and tire valve logo caps. Polar Silver with black interior. This car has always been garaged when not being driven. It shows."

Nice deal and not too far away. Black interior too. The only negative is OBDII.

It just means a non OEM rotor was used for replacement.

Also, the "Carrera" badge looks crooked - so you would want to make sure that the badge was replaced for some reason other than an accident and/or re-spray.

Just received a email from the seller. He was overwhelmed with 40 emails within 15 minutes of the ad posting. He's going to pull it off and re-asses how to re-list it. Most likely at a hire price to swat off most deal hunters. I happen to be one. At that price I told myself. Why not buy another one

Yes, that's a great price. When you get 40 calls, you know you are leaving $$ on the table.

How do you know it's OBDII?

Interesting point on price but I paid $22,500 for my car five years ago with a very similar pedigree as this one (color combo, location, Carlsen service, records, garaged, etc.)

Except mine is ODBI. Of course now I wish I'd bought three at that price.

Wonder if that one has ABD/LSD.

Federal law, any car starting in '96 sold in US is required to have OBD2. Yours, like mine, is probably '95, so it's OBD1. Which is, trust me, a huge blessing.

Ah, missed that, thanks.

Another difference is mine has the basket handle (which I prefer.)
