Default Bilstein HD/MO33 lock collar set dimensions to get close on ride height?

I'm going to put my new Bilstein HD/ROW MO33 shocks/springs on tomorrow, and want to get close on ride height to start out with.

I've looked around, and upintheair's DIY suspension thread notes that to get to ROW standard height, and using HD/MO30's, he suggests you use:

Front 63mm from lower edge of lower lock collar to top edge of mount bracket

Rear 200mm from top of upper lock collar to center of shock mount

So my question is, what difference would an MO33 spring require, since they aren't as stiff? Or, in static mode, is there no dramatic difference and using these dimensions will get me close? Thanks in advance,

Can't really answer as I have HD30 setup - but since factory was either ROW or USA - you should get the same height with either ROW 30 or ROW 33.

Keep in mind that you need to give the new suspension time to settle. After about 2 months after my install I noticed that the ride was about 10mm lower at the front and 5mm lower at the rear. Always measured with a full tank of gas.

But collar adjustment and the resulting spring load is what really defines ride height, and I just wondered if I need more "pre-load" on the softer springs to achieve the same ride height. I'm going to go to the same spacing, and see what happens.

A little late, but my vote would be to set the height in the same manner as the MO30 coils.

I don't see why it would take 2 months for it to settle, I did mine with just a good drive that included a few R/R track crossings.

The bolts with the coupler nuts are what I use to check my ride height, I don't even bother trying to use fender measurements. Jeff's (InTheAir) outstanding DIY shows the locations to take the measurements.

Stand bolt up under frame measure location, rotate coupler until it contacts frame, slide bolt/coupler out and measure. Very easy/accurate.

I used intheair's presettings, which was the basis of my question. Final measurements will be taken per Porsche spec. But, it's kind of nice to start out close!

I used intheair's measurements as well but mine was a good bit off for RS+10. I ended up having to go back an adjust everything to get the right height. could be installing error though...
