Worth repeating - Excellent 'No Ethanol' site
I really wanted to pass on my thanks to No HTwo O for steering me to an excellent site that features gas stations that sell 'no ethanol' gas. I have two stations right here in town and now I see so many other possibilities when I travel as well. I really noticed the gas mileage increase. It will be great in the winter months when the car sits far too much.

I purchased 3 five gallon jugs of 93 Octane at a local station gleaned from this site for a PCA DE at VIR this past Monday and Tuesday. Car had significantly more power and slightly lower oil temp. This Ethanol crap is ruining car's and truck's gas mileage, eating away at lawn equipment, causing higher produce and dairy prices, all for naught. Yet another "fairy tale" forced upon us by "Big Brother"!

For the Seattle brethren, I've been running eth-free 92oct for awhile now, but noticed some light pinging using fuel from the Cenex in Issaquah (across from the XXX.) Switched to '76 (Magnolia) and no further issues. There's also Bill Waters Spirit Services in N. Seattle, I know some of the PNW Pelicanites go there.... There's also Trick 101 available in Bothell (pm for info.)

It's Big Brother only as the puppet of the other BB....Big (Agri-) Business, who lobbied to get the subsidies and rules into place.
edit: Opps, after hitting submit, I realized this is crossing the boundry of OT into OT-P&C, so my goal wasn't to start a debate...

Using your FOOD for your energy is a losing proposition--eventually we will have to make a choice, or find an alternative for the energy source!!

That's good. I prefer staying with name brand stations. I noticed many on the list are unbranded. I'm sure the gas is fine and you can always throw in a can of injector cleaner every so often. Would probably make up for the additives not in the gas.

I have a couple stations here that have no eth. in the fuel, run by the same guy. Not sure there's any difference is there? If the fuel sits is the issue isn't it?

Yeah, ethanol gas sitting in the tank, especially over the winter months, is becoming a real issue. It seperates. All the local farmers here in western NC load up on this 'no ethanol' gas before storing their machinery for the winter. There are ethanol products on the market now. Sta-bil and Lucas have ethanol treatments available. Another advantage is the increased mpg. It isn't astronomical but I don't mind the extra 2-3 mpg I have been getting in all my cars.
