Default Flamenco Red Interior

For anyone who REALLY REALLY likes red... not a bad price considering you are getting sport seats and carbon shifter **** and handbrake...

I would love to put that in my car. Too bad I don't have 4500 euros to spare.

Almost purchased a black 964 with an "oxblood" red interior (I think that's what it was called). Hot color combo.

My DD was a black with lipstick red 74 911S for 8 years...and I have always had nostalgia for the red interior. IMO, these parts look a little too shiny...and the seats appear to be supple leather which was not an option you could get with sport seats (at least in the US) IIRC.

I'll bet it comes up again for a lower asking price. €4500 is silly.

I don't think the CFO will be okay with anything near €4500 for a pair of seats while we already have some sitting in the attic.
Polar and Flamenco/Lipstick/Cancan was actually my dream combo when I started looking for my car 4 years ago. I quickly realized I would probably NEVER find it. I'm happy with mine, but I still think polar/red would be pretty badass.

I actually like that inteiror. It looks kind of filthy in the pics though. Matt you are partly correct. I followed the initial listing, which was without a "buy-it-now" price. The winning bid was 2.200euro, which was I guess a good deal for what you get (E.g hardback sport seats, CF shifter/e-brake etc etc). But the seller decided not to sell despite the reserve being met (which in itself is kind of strange I think, is that allowed?).

Oh and btw, I think the interior is from this car: (It has been listed for a long time and I think eventually I believe the seller gave out and replaced the interior with black items to attract a wider spectrum of customers, just a guess). What makes me think that? Well, I have never seen hardback sport seats with supple leather (except for this car), which is why I think it's from this particular car.

EDIT: Just noticed the shifter is not CF, neither is the e-brake. Hehe ok it's not from this car but I guess I had some of you thinking.. I'll let the pics speak for themselves..

Did I say I like it?

Viggo, you just posted pics of my dream turbo! That red pops so much more than my chestnut interior does.

Hehe, I'm glad you like it too Ed. Thisone is maybe a little over the top. If it was mine I would try to tone down the red a bit by putting in a black Techart (or alike) SW and maybe replace the shifter/e-brake with a black CF equivalent. I just LOVE the red leather covered guage rings though, gotta get those quick . If I can just get the correct measurements, that would be an easy DIY. Just to order leather from the stealer or elsewhere, cut it to the correct dimensions and then just glue it on / wrap it over the existing OEM guage rings. Sorry for the OT

Gonzilla,

There is a Polar and Flamenco Red C4S for sale at Schneider Nelson Porsche. Just happened across it during an internet search. I like the color, but not sure I would want to live with it 24/7/365. I prefer polar over artic silver, but think I would prefer either an artic silver, black or gp white with the red interior. The blueish tint in polar contrasts the red a little too much for me. Oh yeah, those seats are very nice, but 4500....
