Sims wheels were great too. Here are some on ebay for sale if you want to mod your G&S...

DUDE! I wanted a G&S. I had a Hobie with Cadillac wheels and graduated eventually to a Dogtown/Trackers/Powerflex. I recently started skating again, I bought a Sector9 longboard a few months ago–after not skating for 20 years it is amazing how fast it all comes back.–for example I almost forgot how bad it hurts to fall on your wrist, and that sensation came right back to me

OMG that video was funny. Now I miss being in CA even more ........and childhood. While we're here who wants to talk about the BMX bike we graduated to from big wheels I have a circa 1980 Diamond Back Silver Streak still ride it from time to time along with my skateboard (whats left of it after 20 + years)!

Anyone here ever graduate to the Huffy monoshock BMX bike? I had tuffwheels on it too, flat black ones. Remmber those?

Same here and one day my parents handed me a Redline BMX with real Skyway wheels. My b-day was on a school day but I had to try my new bike before heading to school so at 7am I was out in my pj's riding my new bike.

Funny thing about big wheels is that last week, I was at wal-mart and saw this wicked radio flyer big wheel with chrome handle bar. Even though my son got the big 1 last month and won't use it for another 2 years, I still had to get it for him and guess what, it's all nicely wrapped and under the tree.

I leased one while in kindergarten. Avoided the big depreciation hit when I moved up to a two-wheeler.

We were poor so I had to borrow the Green Machine from the kid at the end of the block. That thing was awesome. And talk about a low CG...

Default We were making our own

I think I was before big wheels. We were making our own out of cabrio993 type of trikes. We would take the front wheel out, take the seat out, flip the frame, reinsert the front wheel and seat and had our own version. Voila! A poor kids predecessor to the big wheel!!

With one botched landing, Ryan's hopes of singing bass in the choir
would soon come to an embarrassingly painful end...

I had a couple in my day but wore out the front plastic wheel..

I wanted to share in this thread.. My Aunt & Uncle found and refinished an old Radio Flyer from the 50's? to give to my kids for X-Mas... So you guys that posted you were too old for bigwheels, maybe you had one of these. 4 wheel steering.
