Anyone have experince with Schnell and/or Dansk big oval exhaust tips? After getting the price of OEM big ovals ($299ea from Sunset), I decided to explore other options. My car is a '96 C4S & both brands, apparently, offer tips for the widebody. I checked the search feature but did'nt find anything definitive

I bought the Dansk tips, and they have held up well over the winter season here on the left coast. They fit perfectly, but are just slightly leaning towards rectangular compared to the OEM BOs, and they do not have the same angle cut to the bumper line so protrude slightly on the outboard side.

GHL tips are really nice and very closely resemble the oem big ovals, and their customer service is awesome.

I have both Dansk and OEM, the Dansk is not a bad option. The difference is that the Dansk tip is rolled, it is not bologna cut so a lil bit protrudes and also it is not as wide as the OEM. Still looks pretty good.....

My vote is for the factory big ovals - the fit and profile works perfectly with the openings in the bumper. Maybe you can locate a used set (Ebay, Rennlist classifieds, PCA, etc.). Since they are chromed stainless steel, you could always refinish a used set.
