Clunk going into first MT
So shifting from neutral to first, I always get a little clunk.
Yesterday, I was coming to a stop. I was barely moving and when I shifted to first there was a LOUD clunk (clutch was still in). Usually, I always stop and shift from neutral to first, but this time the light changed from red to green, so I shifted from second to first.
Is this normal?

It's normal. And if you want to have a real clunking good time, go about 5-10 MPH, put the clutch in, and move the lever from 1st to 2nd, back and forth, repeatedly.
