Torquechap, awesome build. Those matching wheels and targa bar really came out sweet.

I have a White Cayenne with Black/Red interior.......I love the color combo.....Maybe you should look at carrera white metallic...... I have it and it really shines in the sun....... All my white cars came with painted white wheels....I am not a fan of black rims...Thats why my GTS has CXX Silver/Black wheels......

Thanks Rodney2. 'Twas a labor of love. Can't wait for salt to be off the roads.

Default Me too ... !

I have a '15 Turbo coupe in CWM with expresso/burnt orange stitching/carbon fiber interior. Aftermarket exhaust and, of course, PDK. The thing is very nice and fast. But, the PDK has always left me a bit cool. I miss the MT.

Sooooo ... being bored with the lack of nice weather here in New England, i started looking at various reviews Online. Found several of the new 2017+ Targa4 GTS and found it quite appealing. Wide body, SC, AWD, 450 ponies, center locks, black Targa band/wheels/bits .... and, a MT is available ! Excellent.

I did a few builds on the Porsche site and played with the various 360* vids they have.

Drove to the LPD this afternoon and spoke with the sales manager I've dealt with over the years. Before long I was giving him a deposit for a Targa4 GTS!

Apparently, these are pretty rare cars. He said he only had 1 allocation for the T4 GTS. And, it's mine. Not sure when the car will be built / delivered. Too early. He'll contact his rep, yada, yada.

Anyway ... decided on Lava Orange (a bit of a stretch for me) with black sport leather / carbon fiber / MT (of course). I'm sure of the exterior color, but may modify some of the other things. Final build sheet will follow once we have more information.

Don't think I'll miss the Turbo ... altho, it's the best P-car I've owned.

I'm stoked !!

CXX Options are custom options only available from the Porsche Design Center....... They include special items like painted wheels (torquechap) or different wheels not available on the standard model (my wheels are Turbo S wheels), special leather, special painted parts.....Its a code available on the config. only accessible thru Porsche Exclusive... expensive option...but worth it!

I would assume that the gts is always the better choice in that it effectively discounts popular options. If one is not a fan of the look, one can choose to deselect the gts stuff as well.

Default .2 4S

You will love the .2 GTS. I am the luck owner of a .2 Targa 4S. The GTS was not available last February when I placed my order. I took delivery in Aug. 17 and never looked back. I just installed a aftermarket Fabspeed exhaust and boy oh boy does this thing hum now!!! You are in for a very special surprise with this vehicle, it's a looker and a booker too!

Wink

I chose a 2017 TARGA 4S with PDK and PDCC over the 2017 TARGA 4S without PDCC and a 2017 TARGA 4 GTS with Manual.
First reason is the 2017 TARGA 4 GTS was sold few days earlier than I made the final decision,
Send reason is that 2017 TARGA 4S I bought is equipped with PDCC with bring a lot stability to the car. Rear wheels steering is nice too.
Third reason is that 2017 TARGA 4S I bought has an MSRP of 159K, which is almost a GTS, it does not have a center lock wheels with I don't need, and the black tint targa bar which I think ruins the classic, and few more extra horsepower means more turbo lag.
