OFFICIAL NEWSROOM 991.2 GTS announcement THREAD - 450HP

I am one who got a 991.2 C2s with all the performance/handling goodies. But I got my car last May and have been enjoying it ever since. The GTS is great and if buying now I would probably go for that, but plan to stick with my car. I can live with 30 less hp. Does the GTS come stock with ceramic brakes. Passed on those on my car since no plans to track it regularly.
I would be envious because I have a reasonably strong personal bias due entirely to circumstance - I came from a 997 GTS, really enjoyed it, and originally wanted another GTS to replace it. I'd have just gone with a .1 GTS but we live at altitude so when the 3.0TT was announced it seemed like a much better fit for a daily driver, and a test drive confirmed. So I got a 991.2 S on order but was always torn and never quite fully on board as I wanted the GTS that I couldn't have, a 991.1 with the .2 motor. My wife said it doesn't make sense to already spend so much on a car and not be delighted, so I changed the order to a TT and that did indeed leave me smiling wholeheartedly.
Sorry for the OT, but those with a 991.2S have a great car. I wanted a GTS originally only because that's what I started with and I really liked it.

Thanks. Part of me hopes they don't update it — spent way too much time thinking about my current order, "the boss" will kill me if I start all over again.

Good find STG but I'll stick with my lower hp 991.1 GTS for now

1)Seat backs in black are probably uncharge option like the coupe
2)Doubt it
3)Probably. Who knows.
Leather steering wheel is a no cost option, I'd bet. I really didn't like the alcantara steering wheel on my GT4
The other question is whether the powerkit will show up on the Carrera configurator now.

What didn't you like about the alcantara wheel? Too fuzzy/slippy?

Get ready for the rollout of the inevitable promo videos, possibly with CEOs of new and upcoming small companies.
