Default Muffled Bluetooth music

It is certainly amazing that you can hear a song, then download it on iTunes and play it via Bluetooth on your radio.
Does anybody know why the Bluetooth songs from the iPhone are playing at a much lower volume?
When I switch from media back to tuner the radio volume is blasting .
I'm sure the quality from Bluetooth is not as good as the direct play from the radio ... Anyway to improve That?
( Definitely a first world problem )

Raising the volume on your Bluetooth source will result in a louder audio output.

Thanks...
I still don't think it's the same quality as what you hear on the radio ...

What do radio stations use these days anyway? Do they just have an MP3 library or are they using higher bit rates?

Music via bluetooth is average. I'm surprised how good the Bose system sounds via Apple CarPlay.

BlueTooth involves compression and a loss of information, it is not lossless.
Your iPhone via USB is basically lossless from what is stored on your iPhone.
I now only purchase music from iTunes that is 'Mastered for iTunes' or in some cases for older music 'Remastered for iTunes'.
As I understand it you can store your music on your iPhone from a DVD without any loss but it takes up more storage than one of the compression formats.
Why the difference in volume between BlueTooth and USB, I'm not quite sure but it is signifcant to where I don;t use BlueTooth in my C4S but in my Boxster it's all I have available.-Richard
BTW There are different BluTooth specifications out there developed as BlueTooth started as voice only to now music. The best and Latest is aptX but both the Sending device and receiving device must be aptX capable. AptX supposedly offers lossless transmission.
My Boxster has a BluTrip device that is basically a 12v plug with a BlueTooth reciever built in. Plug it into the 12V socket in the glovebox, use a short jumpper to the audio socket on the glove box, pair and you are connected. Works well for the Boxter and i saved $$ by not purchasing the Porsche PCM.
The C4S came standard wiith everything.

If your FM radio sounds better than your bluetooth media, you have a problem somewhere. Like budrichard stated, normal A2DP bluetooth streaming does compress the music, but not to the point of extreme degradation - in most cases is hardly audible on an OEM audio system. I would try checking the internal EQ in your phone as well as the volume of the phone's output. Both can affect the final sound. Otherwise, make sure you're downloading quality files. Try streaming from Spotify if you get the chance, that's going to be 320Kbps and one of the highest quality streaming formats around.

Because when using my iPhone via USB and Car Play, when using WAZE, any audible from WAZE does not allow PCM output such as Sirius XM to reconnect, I tried using my iphone in just the BlueTooth mode for Music and found the Audio levels required extremely higher than by USB. So now after a WAZE alert, I have to push my Audio source button if using CarPlay via USB.-Richard
