GREAT GREAT STORY........I for one appreciate your efforts in creating a unique car. My TARGA GTS follows a similar story as yours...... I also had some CXX options which make the car very unique. I love your color and was torn between Carmine Red and Sapphire Blue...Both Great colors..... You can see how I agree with your Wheel option, as I went Turbo S polished vs the all black. I can't wait to see your photos....Please make sure you post TONS of them!!!

Hey Werks1! I'm convinced there are no bad colors on a Targa. The second I had a window to paint the CL wheels I took it and rolled with Sapphire Blue.

Great Job TorqueChap......... I had painted wheels on my 1989 TURBO CAB...white with Blue and tons of Porsche exclusive options I did back in 1988........ My kids could not drive a stick....SO I sold the car in JUNE FOR $$$$$$$$ and bought the Targa GTS with PDK....Now I can pass it on and let them fight over it in 20 years...... We all went to Porsche factory in summer of 2014 to pick up my Cayenne Diesel with tons of options.....loved the Targa in the Museum.....so when they offered it in a GTS...I was sold on "swapping out the car" for no money...A great trade I thought....Love my New CAR!!!!

My 993TT was originally ordered with matching painted wheels (amethyst). It's got factory painted silver calipers. Tried to replicate that on the Targa but Porsche wouldn't budge on PCCBs in any color but yellow.

Porsche would not budge on a lot of things...I wanted deviated piping on my seats.....but no go......I also wanted GT3 wheels.....they declined.....and wanted more deviated stitching.....but they laughed
