My experience is that app is not very useful, or accurate. For example, on my 2015 GTS, it shows no open recalls (granted the item we are referring to in this thread is a service action and not a recall). Also, shows next oil change in 4 months, but it was done just last month. App says I have 15,018 miles on car when I have a little over 2,000. Basically it is worthless.
As for the recalls, on a car (Nissan) I bought in November, the app told me about a recall (belt buckle) at least a month before the mailed notice.

It's not the PDK acceleration issue.
It's very subtle and unfortunately can only be felt by your backside. It doesn't show up on the tach so it's difficult to capture on video.
Here is the detailed writeup I made for my dealer as I've been trying to address this issue: https://i.imgur.com/gpSL2rb.jpg

Those sound a lot like the symptoms I had when my intake valve was going bad. If you take the engine cover and stuff off and turn the engine on, you can see the butterfly valve shake very slightly. With a shakey valve, the throttle position is constantly off from what the computer wants and is constantly trying to correct it.

The warranty had already expired, it took the course of a couple visits complaining about the issues until I started getting engine faults which they were able to investigate.

With all the talk about computer update, since I was going to be near the dealer anyway, I scheduled an appointment to have it done tomorrow morning on my 2013 C4S.
I've had the intermittent stumble/hick-up issue (in the 2-3K RPM zone) so we'll see if it's a fix.

would you guys mind describing the stumble in a bit more detail for a p-car newb? not sure if i'm experiencing it or something different.
often times when traveling in second or third gear (not certain), approximately 35-45mph, if i depress the gas pedal a few inches, there seems to be a dead space where the engine doesn't respond or feels bogged down. it feels like a material lack of low end grunt, similar to significant turbo lag. i typically have to depress the gas pedal much further, which usually results in the pdk downshifting and the engine finally responding.
not certain if that makes sense but thought i'd give it a shot. tia.
