Do a search for member nmurray.....
You didn't happen to buy his old car?? (doubtful since you got a CPO car!)
Here's a link to one of nmurray's famous video posts. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...ml#post4092205
Wasn't his first post, but one of the more informative ones.
Good luck! Just rest assured you bought a CPO car, so Porsche (or someone down the food chain) is on the hook for this....

OP:
I had a similar problem with my 2012 991s. Only difference is my car also went into limp mode and had to be flatbedded to my dealer. It turned out to be a simple fix...the wheel speed sensor had worked it's way loose. They tightened it up and all was well. Haven't had a problem since. You might want to have your dealer check it.

Status update: dealer called today, cars been in for two weeks, says the regional service rep came in thinks he's located the problem which is connected with the circuit somewhere between the infotainment to the dash. says they're trying to located the exact spot/wire and then order that part and the problem shouldn't happen again (not the first time he's said that). Basically at best I'll get the car next week (making it 3 weeks in the service dept), even then I'm not sure if it'll be fixed. In my view they've taken it apart every which way and so there's bound to be rattles or maybe other problems from all they've done... Debating if I should even keep this car or have the dealer buy it back

better start tracking all this communications *just* in case you decide to lemon the car back to PCNA...
I'm hoping you wont need to, but better to be prepared!
good luck, keep us all posted!

Is all about your particular states lemon laws but any communication documenting the problems is better than none imo... If you can't document the issues you can't income the lon law

yes they do, as long as you buy it CPO from an official dealer. It has to be out of order for a certain amount of days, just google lemon law buy back! I had a CPO Audi a4 convertible bought back. Started off with filing a complaint with the BBB and based on that complained I contacted Audi.
Always have prove you contacted the dealer first and immediately contact BBB!
