Yes but the 2x Aerokit Cup spoiler is not aerodynamically compatible unless you have the whale tail according to PCNA.

Larry is only going to put one at a time on

Which front bumper lower spoiler you use has NO bearing other than looks.

IF you want to put the ducktail or Cup Aerokit rear wing on, they recommend you use the front Sport Design bumper with them. Those two pieces give you more rear downforce and you need it balanced with the front Sport Design bumper.

reference?

are you referring to the requirement for the Sport Design front facia to be present when *either* ducktail or cup aero rear elements are installed?

that I know about; and since this is a GTS it has the SD front facia, the only
difference is the lower lip, replacing the SD lip with the AC lip.

Since the Aerokit Cup is more aggressive (aerodynamically) than the SD (ducktail) the AC lip is likely to further reduce front end lift vs the SD lip,
that is goodness IMO.

In the past, they have said that the whole sport design front bumper should also include the duck tail or Cup Aerokit rear spoiler.

Obviously they figured out a way around that with the GTS. I think the rear spoiler must go up higher or something of the sorts.
I think it was the other way around, you *must* have the SD front facia if you install either SD ducktail or AC wing, because of the mismatch of aero forces f2r in its absence...

but I agree that the rear spoiler may well deploy further for the GTS... esp
with coupe sunroof open, not sure about cabriolet or targa ...

I knew you knew that!

even if the AC lip reduces front lift better than the SD lip, that's fine, the 911 can only benefit from that IMO

I was hoping to install 2x AC lips at the same time to get twice the effect!

p.s
it looks a LOT better than the SD lip IMO

What paint shop did you use if you don't mind my asking and what did it run you?

Thanks!

My favorite dealer parts story was Barrier having only one front wheel bearing set for $90. I wanted to do both and passed. Then out of curiosity I called a local auto parts store. Sure we got em. $20 for both. What? Are you sure about the price? "Yeah. Its a VW part."

Nearly 100,000 miles later, they are still in there. OEM ain't always what its cracked up to be.

yes be very careful... the aerokit spoiler will generate so much add'l downforce at the nose that the rear of the car will be in the air at 75 mph and u will do a front end wheelie like a ducati in a panic stop

c'mon...just look at the two lips in the earlier post...really????

It continues to just crack me up how cheap us Porsche owners are. Yes, I include myself in that group.

If you have a good relationship with a shop (body shop, repair shop, whatever) then they should be able to buy whatever you need, at wholesale.

But MJB, how can you be a cheap Porsche owner when all you have in your garage is a 4 cylinder BMW Z4 and a generic Audi A6 that looks like it belongs in the rental fleet / service loaner dept?

If only I was actually cheap. My garage certainly indicates I have a problem : ) Or the parts cheap. We are paying substantially more for the bits than say on any of my Audi's but oh well, but I had to get stuff online as well for my pile of Audi's as only one dealer in the Chicago area regularly matched my online sources. I am a new transplant to Florida so no longer near my preferred paint/body shop in IL (The Ultimate Paint Shop in Lake Bluff, IL) that yes indeed could get everything at cost.
